Tecumseh Early Childhood Center Principal Tammy Giaudrone is encouraging all district residents with four year old children to come to Pre Kindergarten Pre-Enrollment Day on Thursday, April 25.
Parents/guardians will be able to complete paperwork for the 2019-20 school year between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm at TECC which is located at 1406 N. 6th Street.
Please bring a copy of your child's updated vaccination record, a legal birth certificate and proof of in-district residency status. Examples of this resident status proof would be a utility bill (such as electricity, water, or gas in the parents' name with the address listed) or a copy of your lease/rental agreement. Children must reach their fourth birthday by September 1 in order to be admitted as a full time student.
Those parents wishing to enroll children who are not valid residents of the Tecumseh school district must apply for a transfer to the district at the Board of Education office at 1301 E. Highland Street between 8 am and 4 pm on any school day. Transfers are approved or denied on a case by case basis and more details as to when that transfer would be handled can be found on the transfer application or by visiting with central district administrators.
