Several students from THS have qualified to compete in the state vocal contest by earning perfect scores of "1" during recent district competitions held at East Central University.

In solo performances Mason Quirk and Megan Quirk were awarded perfect scores and will  move on to state.

The mixed ensemble consisting of Paige Raines, Kenzie Spurgin, Kathryn Kalka, Bree-Anna Sanchez, Megan Quirk, Brooklyn Sutton, Conner Shelton, Jeramie Lane, Aeden Lincoln, Mason Quirk, Antonio Black and Caleb Yancy will advance to state with a perfect score.

The men's ensemble with Jadon Jackson, Jai York, Aiden Esteves, Mason Quirk, Darrell Edwards and Caleb Yancy have also qualified with a score of "1".

The state vocal performance contest will be April 23-24 at Oklahoma
Baptist University in Shawnee. Students are directed by Cheryl
Blankenship and Courtney Phillips.
