The newest educational addition to the Krouch Career Center is radio electronics which is a class open to high school students. The class is sanctioned by the National Association of Amateur Radio Operators and offers the opportunity to explore the world of electronic communication. Students get hands on experience learning about radio science that powers cell phones, Bluetooth and all the hottest wireless technologies. Those taking the class can take the HAM operators transmission license exam in hopes of obtaining an operator's license, which is a skill urgently needed in law enforcement agencies around the world.
