Tonight is Senior Night for THS wrestling. Th Savages will have a middle school match at 6pm, followed by presentation of senior wrestlers and then the varsity will wrestle. Thank you to First United Bank of Tecumseh on their generous donation of four water bottle filling stations for Tecumseh High School. Traditional school drinking fountains have been closed since the pandemic's beginning and students have had to bring water from home. Students will now be able to safely refill their water bottles during the school day. THS junior Rylee McMillan tries it out for the first time.

The Cache High School football team has been eliminated from the second round of playoffs due to COVID-19 related issues. Tecumseh High School has been selected to replace Cache for the second round game. That game is scheduled for November 20 at Blanchard High School at 7pm.

School picture night for all virtual Tecumseh Middle School and Tecumseh High School students has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 3. All students need a picture for the school records system but no student is obligated to purchase pictures. However, you will have the option to purchase photo packages that evening. Attention Class of 2021 senior parents -- October 27 is the very last day your senior can have their official THS Class of 2021 portrait taken. We will do those portraits in the high school library on October 27 during first, second and third period. No appointment is necessary. The charge is $20 per student and must be paid at the time of the photo. This is the head and shoulders photo required for all graduates and is used for the senior panel, the school yearbook and the graduation ceremony. Tecumseh's Lady Savage fastpitch team will begin play in the state tournament at 4pm, October 15 at Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. Tickets are $10 for all ages. THS Class of 2020 graduates can pick up diplomas today in the high school main office from 10am-noon. All school debts must be paid and school property should be returned before official documents are released to the graduate.

You have an hour left to get school books and property checked in for the summer break. We will be open until 6pm. Chromebooks go to Krouch and all other property should be returned to the respective school. Email school principals after today to find out how to return items.

If you have friends and family in the Tecumseh school district who still don't use the school app, please encourage them to do so. It will be the primary way our district will communicate with parents about the 20-21 school year and any changes that may develop through summer.

This is a reminder that it is time to return your school issued Chromebook and charger. We will accept those today from 10am-6pm at Krouch STEAM Center. It is important we receive the remainder of devices today to prepare them for next school year. Thank you!

Tomorrow is school picture retake day. If you want to redo your picture or simply missed out the last time, we will need you to be photographed tomorrow, so come prepared. This is a free service but you have the option to buy photos.

Remember the Million Mile Challenge? Our students staff and families have been challenged to walk a combined total of one million miles by the last day of school. THS has recorded 105,075 miles so far! Are you kidding? The challenge is on to the other sites. What do you have so far?
