Tecumseh's Lady Savage fastpitch team will begin play in the state tournament at 4pm, October 15 at Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. Tickets are $10 for all ages. Only OSSAA playoff passes will be honored. Appropriate facial coverings/masks will be required of fans to enter the stadium and must be worn at all times when inside the tournament facility.

In conjunction with Oklahoma's Pink Week Cancer Awareness challenge, Thursday's varsity football game at Blanchard will be dedicated to the fight to cure childhood cancers. As a show of unity, Savage fans are being asked to wear our school color gold to the game to show our support for this project. The Lions have a new stadium and the address is 501 NW 10th Street in Blanchard. Game time is 7pm and tickets can be purchased in advance at https://blanchardathletics.com/

Attention parents of ALL elementary virtual students. We will have a virtual student school picture night for all children in grades PreK - 5th grade on October 20 at the Cross Timbers elementary school site. The event will be from 5-7pm for any elementary online student wishing to be photographed for the school yearbook and/or wanting to purchase school photos. For questions please call the school site office where your children are enrolled.

The bracket for the fastpitch state tournament has been released. Tecumseh will play Skiatook at 4pm on October 15 at Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame stadium. The winner will advance to the 1:30pm game on Friday, October 16. Championship finals are Saturday at noon. Ticket prices for all ages are $10.

Classes will be dismissed for all Tecumseh Public Schools students October 15-16 for Fall Break.

Tomorrow, October 13 is the last day to visit the TMS all virtual fall book fair. Students will need to browse and purchase directly from the Scholastic Books website this year instead of in person. Proceeds from this online event will continue to go to Tecumseh Middle School as they have in the past. The link to make purchases will remain open through tomorrow evening October 13. Savage sports fans this is a reminder that appropriate face masks by all attendees will be required at tonight's football game with the Cushing Tigers. Admission gates will open at 6pm. In addition, congratulations to the Lady Savage fastpitch team which secured the regional championship this afternoon with a perfect 3-0 tournament record. The girls will begin first round play in the Class 4A state tournament on Thursday, October 15.

Savage football fans planning to attend the game on Friday, October 9 at home against Cushing, please be aware that the admission gates will not open until 6pm. Game time is 7pm.

The football homecoming ceremonies scheduled for 6:30 pm on October 9 have been postponed until the Harrah vs. Tecumseh game on October 23 due to ongoing COVID illnesses and quarantines. The football game with Cushing (October 9), the fastpitch regional tournament (October 8-9) and the Tecumseh Cross Country Invitational (October 8) will go on as planned if no new illnesses or quarantines develop.
