Spotlight

Whitlee Davis has attended Tecumseh public schools since pre-k. She is involved with fast pitch softball, FFA, FCA, student council, link crew, and leadership. Whitlee’s favorite high school memories are being in the student section at football games and all the car rides to and from ag events.  Her future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University and major in biology and later plans to become a neonatal nurse.

Delaney  Brown has been involved in managing fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball,
and basketball. She is also a part of NHS, Gifted and Talented, FCA, and
Link Crew. She received student of the month her Junior and Senior
year. Her favorite high school memory is all the time she spent with her
classmates at sports and club events. After high school she will attend
OSU

Gabby Daniels was a Tecumseh Cheerleader throughout her 4 years of attending Tecumseh
High School. She was apart of HOSA and NTHS. She also has attended
Gordon Cooper her junior and senior year, she’s received her CNA,
Phlebotomy, and Vet Assistant certification.
Gabby’s favorite
memory from high school was making new friends who turned into family.
And never having a dull moment while at school. Plus, Friday night
lights.
After high school Gabby will attend Seminole State
College then bridge over to Rose State and pursue a degree as Radiology
Technician.

Ben Corley has played basketball throughout his high school years. He has been
awarded Conference Newcomer of the Year, All Conference, 4A All Star by
Class, Student of the Month, and two time Super Savage. Ben’s favorite
THS memory was Surge Field Trip with Mrs. Shores' class. What he will
miss most about THS is Mrs. Shores' class because Mrs. Shores class goes
hard. After graduation, he will attend SNU on a basketball scholarship
where he will major in Education. In the future he plans to teach and
coach basketball. Ben would like to thank God, his mom and dad, and Mrs.
Shores.

Jay Mitchell has attended Tecumseh Public Schools since Pre-K. He is a 4
year letterman in football. He is involved in Leadership and enjoys
helping his football coaches. His favorite high school memory is helping
everyone in the Savage community. He will be attending Northeastern
State University in the fall where he will continue to play football and
earn a Degree in Education.

Sophia Childers painted most of the school banners from my
sophomore to senior year, and painted doors for Mrs. Sampson, Mrs.
Lungaard, Mr. Buss, and Mrs. Meyers. Additionally. She helped paint
decorations for a Halloween dance my sophomore year, as well as many
various projects for different teachers throughout high school.
Sophia has  been in school with her cousin Lilly since we were little so her favorite
memory in high school has been reconnecting and experiencing these last
couple months of school with her.
She will be attending Seminole State
College this fall and majoring in psychology and plans to transfer to OU
afterwards and eventually pursue a Masters to become a substance abuse
counselor

Monte Valois developed a love for football that became his focus throughout high
school. He had an undefeated freshmen season, made it to the playoffs
two years in a row (Sophomore and Junior). Monte was Vype QB fan choice
for both Junior & Senior year, Farm Bureau MVP junior and senior
year. He was a four year starter on Varsity, named Athlete of the Week
for football and was chosen to play in the Blue Grey All-American Bowl
game at AT&T stadium in Dallas…

Dylan Graham has attended Tecumseh Schools since freshman year. He played football
for 4 years, basketball for 2 years, and baseball for 4 years. He was
also involved in Leadership, Link Crew, and FCA. He was Student of the
Month all 4 years. His senior year he was chosen for the Todd Colburn
Farm Bureau MVP for 4 games, 4A-2 District Athlete of the Year, and THS
team Athlete of the Year in football. His junior year he was 4A All
District 2nd Baseman and Team MVP in baseball. Dylan is graduating in
the top 10% of his class and received the Certificate of Distinction.
His favorite high school memories include all of the time spent with his
teammates and coaches and scoring his first varsity touchdown in the
win against Seminole his sophomore year. Dylan has signed to play
football at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas

Jaxon Meyers has been involved in NHS, Stuco, FCA, Youth Alive and Link Crew while
at THS. He has played basketball, baseball and football throughout high
school. He has received academic and athletic awards throughout high
school. His favorite memory was going to Arizona with the baseball team
his freshman year. He will miss playing sports once he graduates. He
wants to thank everyone who helped and mentored him along the way.

Clubs: Beta Club, Academic Team, FCCLA, Art Club, NHS, and StuCo
Awards:
Academic All-State, National Rural and Small-Town Scholar, AP Scholar,
Student of the Month, Academic Letter jacket recipient, Student of
Today, Certificate of Distinction, Oklahoma Academic Scholar, Varsity
Academic Team Top Scorer, STEM Award, American Citizenship Award, Top
10%, All-Tournament Team for volleyball at Chickisha Tournament, and
class co-valedictorian.
Favorite Memory: I loved being in this year’s
production of Into the Woods. I met so many cool people and I’m so
happy I got to spend a good part of my spring term with them.
Future
Plans: I will be attending Oklahoma Baptist University as a part of the
University Honors Program. I will be majoring in Forensic Psychology
and minoring in Theater or Creative Writing. I plan to go into the the
FBI in a violent crimes unit
