Dear Parents,
The national economy has finally hit home in Oklahoma. Much like the rest of the nation, The State of Oklahoma is struggling with lost revenue which has translated into across the board cuts for the many state funded agencies. Schools are greatly being affected by this financial crisis and these problems are projected to continue into the next fiscal year. The state is projecting a 1.3 billion shortfall in revenue for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010. Schools across the state are currently dealing with a 5 - 10% reduction in state revenue for this fiscal year and the projections are for this to reach double figures for next fiscal year. We are currently making plans for the remainder of this year as well as making plans for next year. We are waiting for a preliminary budget number from the state legislature to help us complete our planning process. Please know that our goal in this budget crisis will be to continue to provide a quality education to each student attending Tecumseh Public Schools. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely, Tom Wilsie Superintendent

Welcome from the Superintendent...
Welcome to Tecumseh Public Schools. We hope that our website will provide you with an easy to use and informative site where you can check on programs, calendars, menus and a myriad of other pieces of information about our school. We are extremely proud of the efforts of our students and staff as we continue to work towards our established goals.
The success of our school is dependent on all of us (parents, school and community) working together towards one common goal of producing young people who are ready for the challenges of life. This is accomplished when students leave Tecumseh High School ready for work, college or technical school. Through your continued support we will stress our mission of Seeking Excellence in Education.
