Tecumseh's surprisingly young band, in comparison to other 4A schools, showed everyone what can happen with hard work and determination when it received a superior rating at the recent district competition. This rating guarantees the band a place at the state contest on March 28 at East Central University in Ada.
"I am very proud of and very excited for our kids. They really stepped up and played well," said band director John Outon.
