Tonight is Senior Night for THS wrestling. Th Savages will have a middle school match at 6pm, followed by presentation of senior wrestlers and then the varsity will wrestle. All activity has been moved to the Tecumseh Gymnasium on the middle school campus. Attendance is regulated, but you can view the action on the Tecumseh High School Facebook page.
Tecumseh varsity and jv basketball boys and girls will be at Jones tonight for games which start at 4pm. No spectators will be allowed but the games can be viewed on the Jones High School Basketball YouTube channel.
Thank you to First United Bank of Tecumseh on their generous donation of four water bottle filling stations for Tecumseh High School. Traditional school drinking fountains have been closed since the pandemic's beginning and students have had to bring water from home. Students will now be able to safely refill their water bottles during the school day. THS junior Rylee McMillan tries it out for the first time.
Congratulations to varsity Lady Savage basketball on your second place trophy at the Locust Grove Tournament this weekend. Varsity boys finished fourth at the 2021 Wheat Classic at Chisholm High School.
The girls middle school basketball games with Jones at home tonight have been canceled. Middle school boys will play at Jones at 5pm. No spectators will be allowed. Games can be viewed on YouTube at Jones Middle School Basketball.
Both Savage basketball teams have advanced to the second round winners bracket in their tournaments. Tecumseh's girls will play OC McGuinness at Locust Grove at 6pm. The varsity wrestling tournament at Pauls Valley has been canceled.

McLoud High School will host a three way wrestling dual with Tecumseh and Anadarko tonight. Tecumseh's first match will be with Anadarko at 5:30pm. Followed by a match with McLoud at 7:30pm.
The Tecumseh vs. Perkins-Tryon wrestling match scheduled for tonight has been canceled. The basketball games with North Rock Creek at home will begin at 4pm. Doors open at 3:30pm. Masks will be required during the game by all attendees. Junior varsity games will be shown on the Tecumseh High School Facebook page and varsity games will be televised on demand with the HUB network at no charge.
Savage basketball fans -- Tonight's game with North Rock Creek will also be senior night. Introduction of seniors will begin at 6pm between the jv and varsity games. Students at Tecumseh Public Schools will return to classes on Tuesday, January 5. Please remember that if your child is experiencing any COVID-like symptoms or if someone any of your school age children have been in close contact with are awaiting COVID test results, please DO NOT send your children to school. You should contact the school site attendance office or school nurses for instructions on when to return. All teachers and staff will report a day earlier on Monday, January 4.

Tecumseh Public Schools will be dismissed for Christmas Break December 19 - January 4. Students will return to class on January 5 and teachers will return on January 4 for professional development. Individual school site offices will also be closed during this time. However, the board of education office will remain open but will be on temporary holiday hours. Please call ahead before visiting.
