Tecumseh Public Schools Statement:
This weekend, Tecumseh Public Schools was notified by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office about a month-old social media post made by a Tecumseh High School student that included threatening language and images involving weapons which were taken inside a Tecumseh High School restroom.
School administrators worked closely with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the Tecumseh Police Department to ensure the student no longer poses a threat. Out of an abundance of caution, there will be an increased police presence at THS beginning Monday.
We take all threats to student and staff safety seriously and appreciate the quick action and partnership of both the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the Tecumseh Police Department.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact Tecumseh Public Schools administration at 4055982113.
Thank you for your continued trust and support of our schools.

Mark your calendars for the Tecumseh FFA Pig Roast on November 21st! This is our biggest event of the year, and we are excited to welcome our community back for a night of good food, skits, and auctions. The doors of the Alumni Building will open at 6pm, a pork loin dinner will be served at 6:30, and the silent auction will begin at 7. We will have a silent auction with student-made projects and items donated by the community. Our live auction will feature larger student-made projects and skits performed by our FFA members.
Tecumseh FFA members have began to visit local businesses in search of donations for our silent auction. If you or your business would like to make a donation, please contact a Tecumseh FFA advisor! This year, donors will receive tickets for free admission and will be entered for donor-exclusive door prizes! We appreciate our donors and their support of our program!
