Because of widespread power outages within the district, Tecumseh Public Schools will continue with the distance learning format for Thursday, October 29 and all school campuses will be closed. Parents, if you have power at your residence, please have your children log in to Canvas accounts for assignments from teachers on Thursday. Once again, we will anticipate many connectivity issues between students and teachers and it will be understood if log on is not possible. Teachers and assistant instructional staff should work from home as well. There will be no meal service provided on Thursday and all after school activities have been canceled. We appreciate your patience and commend those in the public utility fields who are working around the clock to get us back into school.

Homecoming coronation ceremonies will be Friday, October 23 at 6:15pm in the high school gym. Admission is free. Masks will be required by participants and spectators to enter the gym and must be worn during the entire ceremony. All high school and middle school students will sit on the south side of the gym and all parents and small children will sit on the north side. Please observe social distance rules by skipping every other row of seats when choosing a place to sit. We appreciate your understanding of this last minute change of plans and regret any inconvenience it may have caused. However, after thoughtful consideration, the safety of our student body and staff continues to be our first priority and this plan is our best choice. We will see you tomorrow evening. Regards, Tecumseh High School Administrative Staff
