If you are a JH kid that is on the fence about playing come on down so we can meet you. This is a mandatory team activity. We will take a bus for kids who do not have a ride there, leaving at 650pm from the HS football field. Always a great time!!
Enrollment/Drug test-July 25th
Every kid that participates in HS/JH athletics will need to have a drug test. You must have your rankone done because the consent form is on rankone. If you have questions about rankone you can contact the HS office and they can provide assistance. Coaches will be at enrollment so we can help you with rankone as well. Swing by and meet us!!!
Physicals-
Please get physicals done so we can get them in rankone. Kids can not participate until rankone and physicals are fully done.

Pre-Kindergarten enrollment will be held on April 16th and April 25th from 9 AM to 7 PM at Tecumseh Early Childhood Center which is located at 1406 N. 6th Street in Tecumseh. This is for all students who will be starting Pre-K during the 2024-2025 school year. Please bring birth certificate, shot record, and proof of residency. Call 405-598-2967 if you have questions. Please share this info with anyone you know who has a Pre-K student!

The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Shawnee, in partnership with Tecumseh Public Schools, is applying for funding under the Oklahoma State Department of Education Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Grant for Barnard and Cross Timbers Elementary Schools. The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century 21st CCLC program is authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary
and Secondary Education Act, as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015. The program allocates federal funding to establish community learning centers for after-school and summer programs. These centers offer academic, artistic, and cultural enrichment to students from high-poverty and low-performing schools, aiming to
meet state and local standards in core subjects like reading, math, and science. Additionally, the program aims to provide students with a wide range of hands-on STEAM activities, leadership opportunities, and community service involvement. It emphasizes the involvement of families and the community in the educational process.
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century 21st CCLC program will allow us to continue the successes we’ve had through the current ESSER III High Quality Afterschool and Summer Learning Program, which was launched in 2021 and has helped Tecumseh students receive high-yield programming in academic success, character and leadership, and healthy lifestyles. The program provides a daily snack, homework
help, literacy tutoring, hands-on STEAM lessons and activities, family engagement opportunities, community engagement, and a variety of physical recreation opportunities. After-school youth professional staff collaborate with school administration to supplement daytime lessons and reinforce learned concepts by offering enrichment activities.
Our program is working with a coalition of community partners including Tecumseh Public Schools, Pioneer Library System, Central Tribes of the Shawnee Area, Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, BancFirst, Gordon Cooper Technology Center, and Avedis Foundation. Tecumseh Public Schools will be closed starting Friday, March 15th - 22nd for Spring Break! Students will return to class March 25th.
